The short version: you book classes, we teach them well, and both sides treat each other's time with respect. The longer version follows.
Riyaazi Academy provides live, one-to-one online music and dance lessons taught by independent teachers ('gurus') whom we select, train and schedule. Classes are conducted over video call at times agreed between you and the academy.
The free trial is open to any student aged 4 or above, one per student. Regular classes are purchased in packs (currently 8 or 16 classes) and scheduled as recurring weekly slots agreed with your guru.
Students under 18 must be enrolled and represented by a parent or guardian, who is the contracting party for these terms.
Classes can be rescheduled free of charge with at least 12 hours' notice, and the class returns to your pack. A class missed without notice is counted as taken — the guru kept that time for your child.
If a guru must cancel, the class is always returned to your pack and rescheduled at your convenience, whatever the notice period.
Packs are paid in advance in INR (India) or USD (international) through our payment providers. Prices are shown on the pricing page and confirmed before any payment link is sent. Packs stay valid for three months from purchase; we extend validity for genuine breaks like illness or travel — just tell us.
Classes are a respectful space on both sides of the screen. We expect students to arrive on time and prepared; you can expect gurus to do the same, every single class. Recording classes for personal practice is welcome; publishing a guru's class publicly requires their consent.
As the academy grows from its founding phase, these terms will be refined and reviewed by counsel. We will tell you about meaningful changes directly — by WhatsApp or email — not bury them in fine print.
